Deluxe Books Update

It's been a while since we spoke about the Deluxe books we promised at the beginning of the year. A lot has been going on lately and things have definitely been moving in a good direction. We started off getting everything in draft, trying to get an idea of where we wanted to take these books. We know we want them to have everything a player will need and then some to help them understand the world from the point of view of their character. So I sat down with our Creative Director, Seth Chamberlin and we discussed a plan of action. Thus far the news is good and the feedback has been phenomenal within our community. Each book will be done with new artwork, new layouts, we'll breathe some new life into them as well as more roleplaying hints and tools.

One thing our fans have always told us is that they love our game world and they love how the books are everything they need to play their character. They're detailed and they take you into the game world in a way that makes you feel like you're a part of the world. Fans will also get to experience more from the world they love with the release of the Deluxe books as Seth puts his spin on the series, bringing with him our talented staff.

I leave you all with a teaser since I know it's been asked by certain people, our Celestials: War of Ages Corebook was delayed because our staff have been going over it with a fine toothed comb. As Seth put it in his blog anything he puts his name on is going to be done right. In the meantime, the world of Damnation has been expanded by the release of the Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell which is available on scribd.com.

Fallen Sourcebook: Lies & Truth Excerpt III

“As my mind raced through the memories of my host, I tried diligently to block out his memories. Those he held dear to his heart only clouded my mind. I needed something to hold onto if I was going to survive these nights. I focused my will and sharpened my mind like a razor. I could feel within the very depths of my soul the Darkness which calls to me. Though Kerubiel exiled me and my kind to Tartarus, my resolve has never been stronger. Reaching into my being, I can feel a part of me that lies dormant, like an ocean waiting to burst to the surface like a volcano, Darkness consumes me, at first tearing at me and just when I feel as though it might destroy me, power erupts from my host body, magnifying my abilities, focusing my will and unleashing my might. The shadows bend at my call as Darkness spills forth, empowering me with my former glory.”

Fallen Sourcebook: Lies & Truth Excerpt II

I walk these streets, feeling the black roads underneath my feet. Although this was not my body, these were my shoes. My head throbbed from the memories or the spirit who was here before me. All I feel now is the hunger, deep within me, telling me I need to find Darkness. I struggle to find the dark, any shadowed place away from the light where I can relax for just a minute. Thoughts rush through my head like a current in a river. It won’t stop as smells rush through my senses. I can smell the grass, the dew and the trees. I feel like I’m losing my mind and all I can think of is that the Heralds will know I’m here and the other creatures must be losing their mind right now. My entrance into this world was a painful birth that comes with a price. A shudder must have been felt from the eldest to the youngest. As I gaze out from behind the mask of his mortal’s body, noticing the subtle features of his face, looking through his eyes, I notice the grass begins to turn sickly and yellow. I look up at the light nearby and the street lamp dims as the pole begins to rust. Although I conceal my presence, the world knows something unnatural is near, poisoning the natural order. Gathering my wits I begin my journey. It’s time to find the Host and bring order to this territory….”

Fallen Sourcebook: Lies & Truth Excerpt

"You thought you were alone? You thought we'd send you back on your terms? *snickers* you thought wrong. You are not fit to be sent back on your own. That is why Master sent me. I keep you on your toes, I keep the world turning. You are just an insignificant piece of meat. We have planned for you since the beginning and you will always be within our control. Feed on the sins of mortals and cleanse the world. Do your job and we'll do ours. Believe it or not, keeping the Heralds at bay is not an easy task. Haven't you wondered by now why they haven't come out of the sky and cut you down? You really should have.

I am your Prince and you shall be ruled by my laws while you exist on this plane. The Master sent me here after so many years of planning so I may mold you and guide you. You will be a soldier for us and end this war if it's the last thing we do. The Heralds are starting to wake up as we gain our footing over this world. Kerubiel may be an asshole but we're winning. The Darkness will recede in the face of the light and that masquerader will not get away with this. Once the Creator returns, we shall be redeemed in his eyes. In the meantime, just remember the goal. Keep your eyes on the prize. Cut them down, keep them off of our plane and we can cleanse the world of the Darkness that plagues it. And you little worm? You'll be rewarded for your service. Don't you worry your head about that."

As May Comes To A Close

With May coming to a close, we'd like to start off by saying, "Thank You" to our many supporters. The Dark Phoenix Facebook page has seen some new "Likes", we recruited some new talent which is going to start churning out art and editing some of the books to help get books out faster and increase the quality of the material.

So what's new at Dark Phoenix? Well, in case you missed it, the Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell was released! We posted the reviews and we're still hearing about how awesome the Sourcebook is. The Obia Sourcebook came in right behind it with just as much praise. Each reviewer seemed to love the powers as well as the idea of vampires who were living shadows feeding on the souls of their victims. The Fallen Sourcebook also tied into the Vampire Undeath Corebook showing us that vampires and demons have more in common than the Vampire Corebook would have originally let on. The next books to be released will be the Fallen Sourcebook: Lies & Truth and the Celestials Corebook.

As things continue to develop we'll keep you all in the loop. In the mean time, show your support by giving us "Likes" on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter. If there's anything we can do in the meantime to show our support please let us know! In closing, if you're interested in obtaining a license to write novels based on our material send inquiries to mykal@dark-phoenix-publishing.com.

Celestials Excerpt: Ankle Deep In Decay

Welcome to the war. This is the front lines. Of course, they told you what you wanted to hear. You know of the war. You heard the propaganda. That Lucifer challenged God for the throne and Michael and those loyal to God kicked out Lucifer and those who followed him. You never even bat an eye at the story did you? I bet you didn't. Now look at you. Down on Earth with the mud and the muck. Don’t go running to the churches and whatever you do, get good at hiding. Most of us are in the alleyways, concealing ourselves as the homeless. Others sleep in hotels and stay wherever we can. The truth is, we’re losing the war. Heaven will tell you we’re winning and that each Angel who comes to earth could be a member of the First Sphere someday -but that’s all bullshit.
Crime has never been higher. Did you know someone is murdered every 30 seconds? A mother or daughter is raped every minute? If you close your eyes and concentrate you can almost smell the rot in this world. Walk into any church and you’ll hear the cries and wails of the mortals as they cry out for a savior. Does one come? No.
We are alone. Heaven pats you on the back and kicks you face first in the mud. No one cares that the Fallen own this world. It’s a strange concept for one who has personally stood in front of God, felt his grace and power and witnessed his might. Now the world we helped create is without the face of God. Mortals destroy each other and creatures twisted by creation hunt them down and feed on them like some sort of sick game.
With God gone, spirits don’t know where they’re going. Demons claw out of the prisons and possess mortals. Vampires walk the Earth drinking mortals to death. There are a few on our side but the Mandate states we are to stay out of it. Like some sort of sick joke we’re not allowed to interfere with the divine plan.

The Obia Sourcebook

There's been a lot of chatter about the Obia Sourcebook. One reviewer said it reminded him of his old Vampire: The Masquerade days saying it was like a mix between Losambra and Wraith. Others said it was more in-depth than any rpg they had read and they loved that the gaming world expands with every Sourcebook. Many initial thoughts that the Vampire: Undeath Corebook shared similarities are shed with the release of each Sourcebook and that doesn't end with the Obia Sourcebook.

The fact of the matter is, Obia aren't vampires in the way the vampires presented in the Vampire: Undeath Corebook are. Obia feed off of the Shadow of a person's soul. They are Shadow People, who move through shadows, can become invisible when in shadows and slink through the smallest cracks. They are cold, calculating and chilling to the bone but they're so much more than that.

As you read through the pages of Obia you'll discover vampires who manipulate and control shadows and darkness but more importantly, they also repair damage between the worlds. When the barrier between the worlds thins, creatures known as Darklings attempt to escape into the mortal world. This happens from time to time causing devastating damage often at the cost of thousands of human casualties. Unlike the vampires of the Vampire Nation, Obia work with many of the unaffiliated vampires such as the House Nicolai and have been known on occasion to work with other supernatural creatures in order to protect mortals from the real reality -that there are monsters out there you should rightfully fear.

We asked many of you to go over a rough, preview and the feedback we got was priceless. Tim, thank you always for your kind words, advice, direction and friendship. As Tim reviewed the material one notable thing he had to say was, "I like the idea of these vampires so far removed from humanity that they are in essence just shadows. They are to vampires what vampires are to humans in terms of their ties to undeath."

Inside the Obia Sourcebook you discover a connection between Obia and the world of the Fallen. Discover a new source of magic known as Tenebrous which allows the Obia to craft Darkness to create items, constructs and objects. Tenebrous is a power which builds upon a secret which is slowly presented throughout the Sourcebooks.

Again, we'd like to thank all of you wonderful people who took the time to read the preview and let us know what you thought. The world of Damnation is truly expanding and we appreciate each and every one of you!

To leave you with another John Mascola quote: "This is a more pronounced game. I thought they [the books for the series] were just articulate and creepy as Hell . I didn't need to see a horror movie. I have something that would be on par as Edgar Allen Poe or Mary Shelly. Hell, these people would love to play these games."

Fallen Sourcebook Review continued...

Continuing as we promised, another review came in of the Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell. In case you missed the last post it was Andy Cox's review of the Fallen Sourcebook. This review comes to us from Carissa Ann Yanders, avid gamer and all around cool chick. Without delay, here's what she has to say about the book.

Thanks Carissa! Glad to see such support for our games! Stay tuned for more updates on the Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell! If you want to get your hands on a copy it's just $9.99 on scribd.com!

Fallen Reviews Are Coming In!

So we sent out a few copies of the Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell to see what people thought. Most of the private reviews were full of good chatter and praise but the response on Google+ was mostly, "can we get links to these reviews?" While the idea of a link to a private review makes me scratch my head, I decided the next best thing I could do is provide screenshots of what people were saying about the material. We've got an interview coming up and several reviews being done on the series as a whole, up to this point but we'll get to that later. Right now we're going to focus on showing screenshots of what people were saying when we showed them the book and asked a few simple questions about the book. We sat down with Andy Cox and asked him what he thought of the book and this is his response.

Thanks Andy! We're still waiting on John Mascola's review and a few others but we'll make sure to post what we can to show how these people felt about each book they were reviewing and what the general thought is. Once again, we see that charging $9.99 for a book isn't a bad price for a book around 100 pages. The Fallen Sourcebook: The Devils of Hell expands the Celestials: War of Ages Corebook and builds off of both the aforementioned Corebook and the Obia Sourcebook for Vampire: Undeath. Thanks for checking out this review and we'll update and add more once they come in.

Seraphina Sourcebook Update

As you may know if you've been following our website or Facebook page, we've been revamping our material which was originally released between 1999-2004 through playtesting and building our universe. By 2009 most of the playtesting was finished with the mythos-based books. One of the books we released teasers for was Seraphina, a book about a vampire in a mental hospital ran by the brilliant Doctor Baal Rinn Le'Ceth.

In the teaser, Seraphina is a vampire that, for an unknown reason, was brought to the care of Dr. Le'Ceth to understand her nature and how to control her powers. As players comb through the book, they are introduced to the Asylum where she is being kept and Room 104. Information in the book alerts players to the subconscious infection that is Seraphina and the Silent Hill inspired "disease" that she infects others with, causing massive hallucinations and psychic phenomena. Yesterday, we released a cover and layout for the upcoming book on our Facebook page to see what fans thought.

The Fallen Sourcebook Review

The feedback has been coming in about the Fallen Sourcebook. With the outline finished and most of the book complete, we sent out the book to trusted reviewers who took their time to comb through the backstory, metaplot devices and characters listed in the book. One of the surprises most reviewers describe to us was the deep connection between demons and vampires in the Damnation series. With the way vampire was received, a small portion of posters could not imagine that such a connection was possible. What are some of the connections we mentioned?

  • Demons may manifest their demonic form by blackening their eyes.
  • When a demon dies, their body breaks apart in coals, smoke and fire much like how a vampire turns into ash.
  • Demons manifest an Empathy and a wide array of powers ranging from Flight to Domination powers, similar to the powers of the vampires.

Outside of the similarities, there is mention of Halel and his offspring, Aesma Dheva and his dissapearance to the earthly plane, Vizerer and the Daemoni, the Magi and the Heralds (Celestials). One reviewer reported to us that they loved how you don't know who the "good guys" are until the end of the book. Another reviewer reported that they love how our demons are not pigeon-holed as only Western or only Judeo-Christian like some demons in film/mythology/rpgs. Instead, we opted for a more open-ended game where demon was a general term used to describe the character-type and the player chooses if they are Western, Eastern, Hindi, or a general demon with no classification.

Other fan-favorites include the factions. Fallen describes factions as groups a character belongs to and fights for in the War of Ages. Regardless of how a player chooses to play their demon character, they are able to play evenly in a game with vampires, werewolves and the other creatures types present in the world of Damnation. Some RPGs make demons power-houses that cannot fairly be played with other character-types without dominating the scene. As with all of our games, creature types start out even and build in their own unique way with many of our unique attributes such as our use of Innate Edges to change your character as you level up based on Faction, House, Bloodline/Type and Age. In this way those of you who read the Vampire: Undeath Corebook, or the Sourcebooks that go along with it, are familiar with the process of how vampires become refined by The Becoming and quickly become the monsters the elders fear. The same is possible with demons. As your character begins the game just above the stats of a normal mortal, you build in power and understanding of your nature to become the monster that will eventually barter for souls, save some by putting them on a different path or damn those who deserve it. Along the way players will discover Luciferian demons, Merchant Demons, Djinn, The Fallen, Heralds, Reapers, Spirits and Infernalists allowing Directors and players alike the ability to expand their home games or join in on The Lonely Road.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who helped review the Fallen Sourcebook. We appreciate you taking the time to read through the book and give us your honest perspective. If you haven't had a chance to review the book, feel free to email us at contact_us@dark-phoenix-publishing.com with your name, the company you are affiliated with and why you want to review our book to be considered. Thank you.

Faryill Sourcebook Review

Greetings ! This is Mr. John Mascola. I have been in the Roleplaying hobby for well over thirty-years. In my travels, I have had the unique honor and distinction of meeting a unique genius named Mykal Lakim. He has created, in my humble opinion, one of the most unique live action roleplaying game ever, Vampire Undeath. Today, I would like to comment upon one of the awesome sourcebooks, The Faryill Sourcebook.
The Faryill Sourcebook is in use with the live action roleplaying game Vampire Undeath. The Sourcebook itself is an awesome toolkit for any player that is can be used very easily for either new or beginners. One simply can pick up any of the well written and well-crafted works from Dark Phoenix Publishing.
The Faryill Sourcebook contains within its grand pages is a very unique blend of philosophy and multiple mythologies concerning the Faryill. These Vampires revere Mother Nature herself, and even acting upon the very complex sublimities that Mother Nature represents, the Serene Savage. Life and even unlife always has a certain point of view depending on how you see life. The Faryill vampires hold a variety of different philosophies of how nature and the Vampire are interrelated. If you are very interested, Get the book.
The Faryill Sourcebook is chock full of powers and abilities that any player character that could only but begin to dream of. They are so well thought out and simple yet powerful in its darkened majesty. I am NOT going to reveal them to you gentle reader. That in of it would be far too easy. If you are indeed interested, get The Book! If you dare. LOL !
In closing, this is yet another fine product taken with great care and attention taken from its greatest resource, YOU. Mykal Lakim is a very approachable gentleman who asks, “What do YOU want to play?” He takes great care and consideration of his fan base. Taking everything that YOU the fans needs and wants that combines them into an awesome live action roleplaying game with YOU in mind. That makes an excellent game publisher.

Well It's Monday...

Time for new updates! We've tossed around the idea of hosting the Masquerade Ball again. We've just got so much on our plate this year it's nuts. We spoke with the cinematics guys about getting some CG stuff for the website and some teasers done for our Youtube channel. We've given some thought to the Deluxe books and our stance against doing them in PDF. The biggest worry with PDF is Torrenting. When we released Vampire: Undeath, there must have been a few hundred people making posts about how they bought it so they'd just send their friend a copy. Everyone has this problem. All you have to do is go to a torrenting site, type in what you want and bam!, you can have it. Besides, nothing beats the way a book feels, looks or smells. You can hold it in your hands and flip through the pages and really get a good feel for it.

In other news, we saw some new likes on our Facebook page, things shot up some 400% which was nice. The page has been kind of neglected with all that's going on. We had to get contracts sent out for the film adaptation, send out more nondisclosures for shoot locations, get the cinematics guys ready, spoke with billboard advertisers, got a hold of The Hilton so we could check on costs for the Masquerade Ball and spoke with some of our writer friends about getting Deluxe Vampire done and out the door.

In book-related news, Celestials, Hunters, Obia and Eligiere are waiting on art and they should be out soon. Raquel Looker is having a birthday so there may be a sale on our products to help celebrate! She's also done some modeling for Vampire and we had a ton of fun at the shoot! She's been really busy between her normal editing and writing duties as she took responsibility for the Case Files for Seraphina, our Conspiratorial Horror/Survival book on mental phenomena. It's been a lot of fun collaborating on that and coming up with stories, characters and describing how each affects a vampire. All-in-all, Seraphina will add a dimension to Vampire: Undeath previously unseen and continue to show how life within Damnation is so dark.

Eligiere Update

The Eligiere Sourcebook has been in the works for some time. Nearly a year now, and we had to stop production on the Sourcebook due to a lull in time and funds. The end of 2013 was a bit bumpy trying to get everything done from signing contracts and negotiating shoot locations for Blood Legacies to getting more writers signed on for the Deluxe Vampire: Undeath Corebook. The Eligiere Sourcebook, like so many of our books is getting a facelift from the original draft, created back between 1999-2002. Nearly every book we're putting out was originally created over a decade ago, playtested in a private group and now they're getting the love they deserve. Just earlier today I spoke with one of the first playtesters who was eager to hear about how we've been doing. It was great to hear from him and he's committed to playing in the Official Event as often as we run one. The support from the fans is just great, especially when they're fans we've had and held onto for nearly ten years.

Cruising through the Sourcebook we're already on Chapter Two. Raquel Looker started the editing and proof reading process. As usual John Mascola and some of the other fans got sneak peeks at the Sourcebook and as Brad Gilbert put it, "I've always liked your game over any other. I know your game has changed a lot, been finely detailed and such." As an entertainer catching up with Brad was nice. As he put it, "we both work hard to take people away from their worries, if even for a shot while, and bring them joy, with entertainment."

Eligiere is about vampires who are immersed in the world of finance. As the Sourcebook describes them: "When you choose to play an Eligiere, keep in mind you are the vampire who leads by example, you are the corporate asshole who kicks in the door and makes things happen. You are the alpha in this word and you don't take shit from anyone. If you've seen Daybreakers, study Sam Neill's character, Charles Bromley. Watch and study Wolf on Wall Street and pay attention to Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jordan Belfort. Those are two prime examples of Eligiere in the modern nights. One more outgoing (Jordan) while the other is more traditional (Charles) but still, Eligiere to their core.

Obia Update

There's been a lot of questions running around concerning the upcoming Obia Sourcebook. The bloodline first appeared in the Vampire: Undeath Corebook described as being vampires descended from the Bucoli, instructed by their founder Felon. There are little hints about Aesma Dheva and the Shadow World but not much else, aside from their Dark Gift which allows them to manipulate shadows. Well and update is here to let you know how that book is coming along.

Are the Obia vampires?
Yes. The word vampire in Damnation means a creature who feeds off of another and steals/takes a lifeforce. Typical vampires steal blood and absorb the lifeforce in the blood to survive. The Obia are no different. They originated as Thralls and ventured into the Shadow World where they encountered horrors not known to any other vampire. Not much is known about how they came back but what is known is that they are seen as a kind of night terror, slinking through shadows and traveling using darkness. They may move about freely from one point to another using shadows and any area where it is currently dark. They can even affect the world around them, causing it to become more dark, giving shadows more texture, thinning the realms for a moment. They seem to be able to command the shadows that have become a part of their very being and are able to feed using this darkness.

In West Africa, the Obia are known as "night creatures" which can be summoned by witches to murder small children. In Jamaica they are known as beings who sold their soul to the devil for eternal life to amass riches. Some tribal peoples refer to the Obeah Man as a symbol of fear, power and respect. Other cultures discuss these Shadow People and attempt to discern what they represent, what they want and what their goals are.

What do they feed off of?
In the world of Damnation, much isn't known about what they feed from. Their victims are typically healthy, young individuals with everything going for them. Their bodies are perfectly in-tact with no sign of damage. Their blood is in their body and toxicology reports come back 100% normal. However, for the vampire who attempts to feed on the recently deceased victim, there is no sustenance to be had. This act causes great alarm for members of the Vampire Nation who have scientists across the globe working to discover what happened. Obia are very secretive and do not always appear in a territory or domain.

Popular Rumors
It is rumored that the Obia are the Shadow People of legend and superstition. It is believed they know who is thinking about them and who is talking about them. It is generally believed that they are made of shadows themselves, existing in a plane between the Shadow World and our own. Some believe they feed on the soul of their victim while others suspect they don't feed at all. Whatever happened in the Shadow World, the events had a profound impact on their existence.

Umbris
The Dark Gift of shadows and darkness, Umbris is wielded by the most secretive of societies, Covens, Houses and Bloodlines in the modern world: The Obia. Umbris, literally the absence of light or the reduction of light on a subject or given area, takes it’s user into the dark and dank underworld of reality. Granting the power to choke out light from a given area is often misunderstood for a lesser ability. When others scoff at the very thought, they only see it at face value -the power to dim light and cause other things to appear more dim than they really are.

The ability to alter/change the amount of reflected visible photons has caused quite a stir in both the mortal world as well as the supernatural realm, when denizens are instantly blinded by utter darkness where they had previously been able to see without any hindrance.

When a user takes up the mantle of the Obia, they first are challenged to empower themselves with the ability to bend, change and alter natural darkness. Then, once this has been mastered, they are able to summon supernatural darkness, choking the light and eventually the very lie from objects and creatures.

2. Release Shadows
3. Summoning
4. Creative Mind
5. Abyssal Mastery

UPDATE January 11th, 2014:
When asked to review early material for the upcoming Obia Sourcebook, Kirin King had this to say: "It's really good, I like the detail, description, and all of the resources too."

When asked if she thought fans would enjoy the book, her response was: "For beginners it's a lot to take in but it would be easy to get the hang of, for seasoned players...hell yes it gives a great back story and a lot of ways to use it."

A Thank-You to Kirin King for taking a look and giving such kind words.

UPDATE #2 January 12th 2014: We've got a cover for the book completed as well as the first 50 pages of the book. Most of the details which will shape the book are complete, as are most powers. Similar to the Bucoli, the Bloodline they descend from, Obia will be able to use and shape Darkness, a primordial element they may shape in a similar manner to the Daemoni and Bucoli's Blood Magic. A preview of the cover is posted below.

2014, So What's New?

2014 just got here so what's new? Well, the Cherche Sourcebook is almost ready to go up for sale. Had we rushed it we could have had it done in time but we've learned some lessons on rushing projects. Lilliana is closer and should be done by April. Eligiere is getting ready to go into production as it was delayed. We did a shoot today with Raquel Looker and got two new pieces of artwork. Here are the examples.

Celestials: War of Ages Progress Report

Bringing you another sneak peek to start 2014 off with a bang. Celestials is mainly about the War of Ages, that is, a war that has been going on since the beginning of time. Historically, the Seraphim and Principalities tell the story of Lucifer's Fall and how Michael and the Celestial Guard threw them out of Heaven, defeating their armies. Many angels do not know what happened, either being too young or from not being there. What is known among all of Heaven is that Falling will earn you a one-way ticket to Earth where you are doomed to be cut-off from Heaven and the Celestial Choirs. As an angel you are sent to earth where you are an agent of Heaven, sent to defeat the Fallen and disrupt their influence on mankind.

Heaven Lies
As an angel you quickly discover the world is not the way you were told. Humans are at an all-time low. Many do not believe in God and those who do are desperate and thirsting for contact. The Heavenly Mandate states explicitly that no angel may have direct contact with mankind and doing so pushes an angel away from Heaven and closer to Falling.

The Celestial Writing
Celestials have powers which function based on Sigils and Runes. This magical writing affects reality, causing changes in the Divine Fabric of reality. Sigils are the powers of the Heralds, set up on a 1-5 Point Tier much like the Dark Gifts of vampires and powers of other supernatural creatures. Each Sigil stands for a power which may be cast by writing the Sigil into the air or invoking it through the use of tattoos which adorn the Celestial. Runes are a lower form of Sigils which represent a single use, much like Rituals.

Copyright 2010-2014, Dark Phoenix Publishing. Celestial Sigils may not be duplicated or displayed without permission.

Above you will see an example of Sigils. Each Sigil represents a power the Celestial may tap into. Wisdom for instance may be written in the air and invoked to empower the Celestial with Wisdom which may be purchased much like other supernatural powers.

The Fallen
The Celestials Corebook will discuss The Fallen to give the player an idea of how an angelic character can Fall. There are certain rumors concerning the Magi, human Thaumaturgists and other magical willworkers. Is this a preview for Mage: Legacies? You'll find out.

In Closing
Celestials was playtested in 2010 by our playtesters and first released to our audience then. The release of the Celestials Corebook is a re-release of information which has been in playtesting or development for some time. We hope you enjoy the book as we cover all Celestials including Angels, Demons and Djinn from all over the world and every Faith in an attempt to bridge the material in a fun and unique way.
